Got a Vortex FFP (Viper HST) 6-24x - works really well.

BUT, biggest benefit is shown when you combine the Mil reticle with a Mil turret.

Spot fall of shot and adjust using hold off. Want to dial? Just read off the reticle and put in appropriate clicks.

Hole appears where you want - second shot.

Zeroing? Two rounds to arrive at correct mpi - then a further couple to confirm group. It really is a simple and quick system.

Pretty impressed......... & I seem to be starting to think in centimetres!

I got a Buschnell Elite tactical scope from Ebay.
It was priced just little more than new vortex so It should be at the same level (I hope) :grin:
