MTC Optisan Viper 6-24 x 56 yards or metres?

Can anybody answer me this mystery regarding the mentioned scope. I was about to purchase this scope from my local gun dealer, and upon inspection I noticed on the side focus it was printed 10M as in meters, but the instructions clearly state the side focus / paralex is 10 yards to infinity. Even the gun dealer team were a bit puzzled. I even emailed MTC about it with no response as yet. It's a shame because I primarily wanted this scope because of its unique Christmas tree type reticle.

I have 3 of different types and they're all in yds,a viper and 2 Genesis
the reticule is called SCB or Small Calibre Ballistics.
you may have got a European one if it is in mtrs :hmm:

I don't know about the parallax, but the turret markings on mine are confusing, it says on top of the turret it is 1/8th"/click, but then around the side it is marked "1", "2" etc every 4 clicks! It actually is 1/8th, but best to use turret wraps to cover the confusing numbering.
I wouldn't let the markings on the parallax put you off, they are ok scopes, and the marks on the parallax dial are rarely spot on on any scope anyway, if you want to use them you will probably end up making your own scale.

Thanks for the replies guys. The dealer did suggest I could put my own markings on, but I don't know how precise it would be and I think the side focus would look daft with their metre markings on and my make shift yard markings on it too.
