i fancy a 4 x 28x56 ior scope from border does any one have any info on this scope i will be mounting it on a remmy vs sf11 in .204 cal wot sort of ranges would you expect from this combo is 500 yrd pushing things a bit far prob using remmy ammo 32 grainers does any one have any info before i part with my hard earned cash cheers guys and girls thanks for any help over

Irrespective of the scope is the 204 a viable 500 yd round? thinking more on wind than anything.

If you class any of the .22 calibres as OK for 500 yards, then the .204 will certainly be OK. Higher BC = less wind drift ;)

i am thinking more about the scope quality wots the glass like at low light levels . i am thinking about the leupold tactical as well just wanted to know if any one has a IOR and wot are they like thanks again for any help :roll: :roll:

I had a good friend had one, can remember the model but he loved it. He knew his stuff too and optics were very important to him.

I'd have bought it from him when he gave up shooting but never had the £££££

i've a mate that has just bought one from border barrels, he says its the mutts nuts and thats coming from a man who's other rifles wear schmidts and swaros. he went down to border and had a look through different models on their range near the factory and was well impressed. not sure what model he bought though. :oops:

i didnt know shcmidt & bender did rifles lol i now wot ya mean my freind well thats wot i was hoping to hear looks like good bye to 1150 quid ish then cheers guys :thup: :grin:
