This is probably a long shot - no pun intended! - but I'm looking for a Henry .357 lever action.

That's it - short and sweet. :)

Les,

You won't go wrong with a Henry, they shoot very well, my friend has just bought the silver edition in 357mag.

I have the 45/70 and its an inch and half puncher at 100 yards

I have a .22 pump action Henry, and have just ordered a .22 Frontier model. I think the action on Henry rifles is superbly smooth, and the accuracy is exceptional considering they are not designed to be 'target' rifles by any stretch of the imagination.

I've been trying to track down a used .357 for a while, but it's looking likely that it will have to be a new one. I think I could live with that. ;)
