Lee LoadMaster bullet feeder

Sun Oct 17, 2010 8:05 pm

Guys,

Does anyone have a Lee LoadMaster and bullet feeder. If so, does the bullet feeder fit on station 5?

I want to use:
Station 1 - decapper
Station 2 - size and prime
Station 3 - powder through die
Station 4 - RCBS lock out die
Station 5 - Bullet feed, seating and crimp

Kev.

If it's an option, I'd use a case feeder rather than a bullet feeder - playing on a mates Dillon 650 compared to my own 550 (Which has neither) I found not manually placing the case saves far more time, and on a Dillon still allows you to do a manual check the powder has been thrown when you place the bullet. The Lee may be different - I've never seen one.

Excellent - confirms my point, but helps you not in the slightest!

I'm seriously toying with getting a 650 just for the case feeder, and then using the 550 for the 9mm which I shoot less often or even rifle rounds like my 7mm where I'm less anal on case prep or charge weight.

Mailed Lee and got the response:
The bullet Feeder has to be located at station 4 for mounting reasons.

That is the end of that idea if I want a powder check :(
