A Webcam/bracket provided by1066 mounted on my RCBS scales

Postby Cam » Sat Feb 21, 2015 2:33 pm

Allan, aka 1066, the manufacturer of the TargetMaster Trickler, set me a bracket + 5mp camera to mount on my RCBS 505 scales.

Last night I setup the bracket/camera on my scales and zeroed it. I then placed 2 granules of Alliant Bullseye into the pan and then retired to bed.

This morning my 17 Y.O. son commented that the needle was slightly high on the scale's reference mark. I then pointed out that I had 2 granules of Alliant Bullseye in the pan! He was impressed, and so am I.

Well, I'm going to stick my head above the parapet and say the words...

Eh? As a user of RCBS scales explain to me what do you do with a camera attached to the scales?

Even in the US I know what the web camera bracket is for. I guess Coldfinger never paid attention in class.

Hi CF

Mounting the camera on the scales allows you to see the pointer parallax free, and 100x bigger.

If they did a really big cam camera maybe SBS could use it to find his target?

For the avoidance of doubt, there is no such thing as "American English". There is the English language and there are mistakes.
