Make sure you're fully releasing the trigger after the first shot, same thing was happening to a mate with a new gun and this turned out to be the problem,the gun wasn't resetting due to (slight) pressure on the trigger.

I am now wondering whether I am releasing the trigger, especially as [color=#FF0000]though my nephew hasn't had a problem using the same gun.
