I got a brand new Outlander A300 recently. Shop around you should get one under your budget. It's very similar to the Urika 391 I had but stupidly sold. Happy with the A300.

Otherwise, a S/H Beretta 391 or 686 O/U for around £500-£600 would be my choice

Assuming good fit obviously.

You'll not do better than a Caesar Guerini.. drop dead gorgeous guns with way over price looks and feel.

If they are good enough for Richard Faulds, they are certainly good enough for me..

if you like browning try Winchester and miroku as well.
people normally prefer either browning or Beretta in o/u
i have had new benneli m2 and a browning maxus that cost £1200+ each, but the gun i shot best with was a cheap berreta a303

Thanks folks :) few things to look at
It was the silver pigeons i was tempted with had a
Go with mates ultra lite good gun for game/walking
But found it bit light on the clays, got a week off coming up
So will hopefully have a look at a few

i have a winchester supreme that i love, but i shoot Beretta's better, been offered a trade for a 686 and will probably take it,the winchester is just to bloody heavy for walked up shooting, but is a brilliant clay gun.
the ultralight is good, but i prefer the silver pigeon :)

for that sort of money you`ll not go far wrong with a second hand browning/miroku or beretta
I`ll be honest though, the shallower action of the beretta (or for that matter the zoli of mine) suits me to a tee
the "25" series of brownings are a bit too bulky for my liking

Which action type? How much moo-lah do you have to spend? What do you plan of shooting? :?
Some time ago I had a Beretta 686 Onyx which is a fine piece IMHO.
If I had the money I would have opted for an AyA or Arriete SxS double trigger and extractors.

Most underwhelming gun i have ever shot over hyped and over priced, residuals are carp so wait a week and you'll get a barely used one for £700

You'll probably find a peach of a Miroku for that money....
