Nice one, Mike!

You'll probably hear a lot of criticism about Baikals, but they are good honest value for money shotguns that go BANG when you pull the trigger, just like the expensive ones do! :)

Hi Ted,

from what I can tell once you start you can't stop!

I got it as a few of the guys from the rifle club go clay bashing on a Sunday morning so more of a social thing than serious shooting. for me.

I do competitive black powder pistol, quite a bit of rabbiting with both 17hmr and 22lr and some foxing with the 22-250rem, quite keen on the range with the 308 too.

Quite looking forward to getting out with it Sunday morning.

For the very few who have never owned a Baikal ,they will never know how robust a shotgun can be , I had one many years ago and I have to admit it gave me the best results when I was clay shooting , built to work and built to last , you will enjoy it  :)

Sunday morning I went to the local clay club.

There were shotguns there valued over 25k that missed clays, and my old hammer gun was holding its own,

I'm a rifle shooter really, but a morning with the shotgun is fun and enjoyable.

They are built well, ok lack the fancy engraving and the wood is not the best by any imagination strong working guns they are.

At £35-00 a bargain.

There is something glorious about holding your own with a working man's gun while in the company of shotguns costing as much as small automobiles

Latest update!

just bought a Baikal MP-27M multi choke over and under brand new in the box for £360-00 fantastic bit of kit.

got it home, stripped it down cleaned all the transit grease off and last night took it out in the field, it performed flawlessly with Gamebore Black Gold Game.

Out again tonight for some more pigeons, this shotgum malarkey is addictive
