Chaps,

I was looking for shotgun cartridges and found this company in Oxfordshire, I placed an order over the phone and under 24 hours later they delivered.

Now I have to say that is good service, we all have brands that we like and get really p***ed off when the local gun shop does not sell them, but these guys stock most brands.

Delivery cost is £15-00 per 1,000 or free on orders of 10 K or more so if the guys from the club get together and put in a bulk order- job done and you will have what you want and not what the gun shop has. you can also mix and match

I look at this company a few years ago and found them expensive.
I can buy a lot cheaper locally and pass the RFD twice a day going to and from work.
admittedly he's only open on the way home

I have used them in the past and found them to be quite competitive. Excellent delivery as said.

My local gun shop is 15 miles away and only stocks one brand of cartridges the next closest is 30 miles and does not hold a lot of stock.

So by the time I have driven there to buy what I want I have done a round trip of 30 or 60 miles, taking this into account with cost of fuel and time it makes the £15 delivery charge good value, the fast delivery and vast stock means I get what I want the next day with a reliable service.

I also don't break my back loading a thousand cartridges into the car and out once arrived home.

Always found them expensive although i do pass 4-5 places that sell carts twice a day (closed most of the time i pass though)

Eley first 28g plaswad £182.25 a thousand at just carts + delivery i paid £155 for thousand on sunday that means a Just carts order would have been £42.25 extra! thats a few miles of fuel in fact more than i would spend on fuel collecting them (even if i hadn't been in the area of this particular clay ground)

Eley first 21g plas were under £150 per thou £37 a slab......

I've used them but I found their courier (UK Mail Limited) 'less than discreet'.

On opening the door, and with several mums with prams passing, by he loudly enquired "who ya gonna shoot with these then?".
