Went to EJ Churchill today for a gunfit, with the M25 up to its usual stint delaying my arrival I made a call to them to explain I was running late.

On arrival the very nice lady on reception had a cup of tea waiting my arrival, what a real nice touch after a horrendous journey.

I was taken out onto the ground with one of their instructors, again the EJ Churchill style shone through, what was supposed to be an hour lesson and fit turned out to be over two hours.

As for the ground it was laid out nice, the clubhouse superb and my gun will be back with me in about three weeks fitting. Then my 20 bore can go in for adjustment.

You may pay a little more but service like that is money well spent.

That sounds great. Are they fitting one of their guns, or your own guns you brought with you?

I have had a Beretta 692 for some time and that is the gun they are fitting for me.

Will give m an excuse to go back and break some more clays when I go to collect it.

 Sounds good. Any chance of a brief description of the process they used to fit your gun?

Quite technical, they have a gun with a very adjustable stock to get the size.

Once the try gun is set up they take measurements and get your stock adjusted by the gunsmith

this youtube video is how its done
