CLAY SHOOT IN SUPPORT OF HELP FOR HEROES

Postby Tommo » Tue Jan 26, 2010 8:09 pm

OK guys listen in...

The Civil Service Sports Association - Target Sports Association (Merseyside)
have organised a clay shoot in support of
HELP for HEROES.
It will be held on SATURDAY 13th February at MINSTERLEY RANGES.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Although this shoot is about raising funds it's also about bringing new potential shooters to our sport and with that in mind we are operating a policy of a 'closed competition' to all but Civil Servants. There will, however, be a raffle - not sure exactly what the prizes for that will be, we are still receiving stuff, but that will be open to all.

We would like to have, after the formal CSSC shoot, an 'all commers' shoot so that experienced shooters can join in with the newbies and - possibly - show 'em how it's done.

As we are hoping to have upward of 40 new shooters attending it would be great if we had some experienced help just to keep an eye on people, answer questions and so on.

We will be able to offer hot food and drinks to anyone who can attend as a helper. Now the very, very important bit... I would need to know names of those brave souls who can come ASAP please. Your support would be very appreciated

Tommo - you STILL haven't answered my question on 'Am I eligible for Prizes as a ex Civil Service Employes (PO Telephones)!?

Or are you all Greedy Buggers

That WILL have a bearing on my attendance, plus does the £30 include Minsterley's FEE?

The £30 covers you for... two rounds of 25 clays. First 25 are 'instructional'   the second 25 is the comp. And a the money goes to H4H.

There will be HOT food (not the Minsterley Nuked Pannin) [chilli and/or curry ]. There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and certs for all attending. Oh and there's a raffle too..

Hope that answers your original question.. ;)

Nope, I will ask again, AM I ELIGIBLE TO WIN ANYTHING???  AS EX-CIVIL SERVICE!

Does the £30 INCLUDE Minsterley Fees or is that a further charge and if so, how much?

Tommo,

Don't forget those that can't make the shoot can still join in the raffle:

So far the raffle prize pool includes:

£600 worth of tailor made clothes from the Jack Orton Ltd
£300 crystal stag from Swarovski UK
CO-OP food hamper
Mac Wet shooting gloves

I’m waiting to hear on a very nice scope & a pair of bino’s. ;) The prize pool is increasing daily, I will give the full list of prizes a week on Wednesday (the 10th Feb) and the raffle will be drawn on Saturday the 13th February after the clay shoot. If you’d like to take part in the draw then it’s easy:

Go to our just giving website http://www.justgiving.com/valentinesclaymassacre

Confirm that you are a UK resident for tax

Take the tick OUT OF THE BOX that says “’I’m not getting a ticket, product or service in return for my donation”

Give your details and provide a contact email address – for every £1 donated you will get 1 ticket. Please allow a little while for us to send you the ticket details – this is not automatic and will be done as soon as possible after the donation.

Thanks for looking – and good luck

By the way the stag looks good and got a few of the women to part with a bit of hard earned. I've also had an offer of two rifle slings to add to the list this evening.
